Steve Borchardt

"In 2007, shortly before my retirement, I hired Tim. He was an impressive young man with policing skills developed during three years of experience with the Las Vegas Police Department. I have followed his career as he progressed through the supervisory and management ranks of the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office. He also invested in his development by earning a Masters Of Business Administration degree. Tim knows the technical aspects of law enforcement and public finance management. He also knows values-based leadership. And, given the contentious issues of our times, I believe Tim understands that our elected sheriff must be a thoughtful and bold community leader. I fully support Tim to serve as our next Olmsted County Sheriff." - Retired Sheriff Borchardt
